(no excuse needed, this is a new law passed in 2010, if you want to vote by mail call the election office, all mailed ballots must be mailed by the Thursday before Election and this is a 2 step process.
Grace Period Voting: February 19th-March 15th, 2014
This is for persons who are not registered or need to change their address or name. They must vote that day in election office or at an Early Voting Site.
Early Voting - March 3rd-March 15th, 2014
Early Voting will take place at the following locations:
New Simpson Hill School:March 13th, 2014 4-7 PM
Autumn Ridge Supported Living Facility: March 4th-4-7
Goreville Village Hall-March 6th-9 AM-7 PM
Remember you can live in any precinct in Johnson county to vote at any of the early voting sites.
Election Office Hours (special)
March 15th-election office open 8:00 am - noon (Saturday)
March 17th- election office open until 6:00 pm
March 18th-election day-election office open at 5:30 am
Polls Open at 6 am – 7 pm
All 16 Precincts will be open.
