Absentee Voting: Absentee voting by Mail or by Person
February 28th-April 8th, 2013
(no excuse needed, this is a new law passed in 2010, if you want to vote by mail call the election office, all mailed ballots must be mailed by the Thursday before Election and this is a 2 step process.
Grace Period Voting: March 13th-April 2nd,
This is for persons who are not registered or need to change their address or name. They must vote that day in election office or at an Early Voting Site.
Early Voting - Election Office: March 18th-April 4th
New Simpson Hill School: Not this Election
Autumn Ridge Supported Living Facility: March 21st, 4-7
Goreville Village Hall-March 20th, 9 AM -7 PM
Remember you can live in any precinct in Johnson county to vote at any of the early voting sites.
Election Office Hours (special)
April 6th-election office open 8:00 am - noon (Saturday)
April 8th- election office open until 6:00 pm
April 9-election day-election office open at 5:30 am
Polls Open at 6 am – 7 pm
All 17 Precincts will be open.
