Genealogy news

Thomas W. Lannom of Portland, Oregon, has donated volumes I and II of a draft for a book on the Lannom family history and genealogy.  The Lannom family has deep roots in Johnson County, dating to the 1860s, and many descendants still reside in the area to this day.  Mr. Lannom wants to make this draft available to other family members and interested researchers so that they may comment and correct it prior to final publication.  He intends to publish this work in the coming years and will donate a hard bound copy to the Vienna Public Library when it is completed.  He asks that all interested parties contact him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
