Opportunities will be knocking at your door when
you complete your education at any one of the quality schools serving Johnson County residents.

From elementary to high school and beyond, you will receive the highest quality of education available right here in Johnson County.

Five elementary schools are scattered around the county. They are located in Vienna, Goreville, Tunnel Hill, Cypress and Buncombe.

Johnson County is home to two highly accredited high schools; Vienna High School and Goreville High School.

Besides the exceptional education received, the schools offer a diverse lineup of extra curriculum activities including most sports, agricultural advancements, drama, fine arts, scholar bowls and health occupations, just to name a few.

The teaching and administrative staffs at each school are dedicated to bringing the students the utmost highest level of education to be offered.

The 2009-10 school year will go down in history as the inaugural varsity football season, as the two high schools came together to suit up the first football team in the county for over sixty years.
